Obituary for Glen D. Ruesch

Glen David Ruesch, 65 of Berwyn, IL, and Hudson Lake, IN, passed away on October 19, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Regina Nellie Turner, devoted father of Vanessa Rae and Greg Allen, and the fond brother of Craig and Gary. He was born September 13th, 1954, the son of William & Mildred (Frank) Ruesch. Owner of Home Time Refurbishing, and proud Scout Leader of Troop 31.
Glen was the backbone of his neighborhood, lovingly named “The Mayor of Wen-Home” by many. He was always around to lend a helping hand to those in need, he spent much of his time walking about town, meeting new people and catching up with old friends and neighbors. Glen was often seen slowly walking down the sidewalk, eyes fixated on the ground, following ant trails, one of his favorite hobbies. He could always bring a smile to people’s faces with his signature Billy Bob teeth that he would crack out at the most absurd times. He was, and still is, very loved by his family and community.
Visitation is Sunday, October 27, 2019, 3:00pm until the time of services at 7:30pm, Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, located at 80 E. Burlington St. Riverside, IL
